Our Story

Be a sloth. Do what you love.

The art of Sl*thing it up

There’s no one way to be a Sloth.

You could be Miro, making something just because you felt like it.

Archie, getting things done.

Ludo, taking play very seriously.

Or Alfie, disappearing into a good book.

Around here, you’re just a Sloth.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. We built this space for community, but also for doing your own thing. For being productive one day and doing absolutely nothing the next.

No pressure. No labels. Just Sl*thing it up.

You were never supposed to be just one thing anyway.

The sloth behind the society

For founding Sloth Rhea Kadakia, Sloth Society started with a frustration.

Every space seemed to ask her to choose a version of herself at the door — the working one, the social one, the creative one, the one who just wanted to sit around and read.

She didn’t want to choose.

So she imagined four Sloths.

Miro, the artistic Sloth.

Archie, the working Sloth.

Ludo, the playful Sloth.

Alfie, the reading Sloth.

Different personalities. Different ways of spending a day.

All equally at home under one roof.

And when Rhea couldn’t find a space where all four could coexist, she stopped looking for one.

She built it.

That became Sloth Society — a place where every version of you is welcome, because you were never supposed to be just one thing anyway.

Come say hi.

Stay for whatever.

One pass gets you the whole floor. Work, read, paint, play, hang out — change your mind halfway through if you want.
